They are used where reliable heat storage, durability and safety are required - e.g. in electric storage heaters, sauna heaters, ceramic kilns or industrial heat treatment systems.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1205\">Thanks to their dimensional stability and resistance, fireclay tiles can be manufactured exactly to customer requirements - both in standard dimensions and in individual geometries for special applications.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"227\">Differences: Storage plate vs. firebrick<\/h2><p class=\"\" data-start=\"229\" data-end=\"438\">Although the terms <strong data-start=\"249\" data-end=\"267\">storage disk<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"272\" data-end=\"289\">fireclay brick<\/strong> are often used synonymously, there are technical and functional differences that play a role in the planning of heating systems in particular:<\/p><h3>Fireclay storage plates<\/h3><p>These panels are specially designed for this purpose, <strong>absorb heat and release it evenly over a longer period of time<\/strong>. As a rule, they have a <strong>flat, rectangular shape<\/strong> and are often used in <strong>electric storage heaters<\/strong>, <strong>sauna heaters<\/strong> or <strong>pizza ovens<\/strong> used.
